B Deck (1.5" Composite Floor Deck)

Composite B Deck (1.5″ Composite Floor Deck) is a 36″ net coverage structural decking product. Light-gauge steel floor deck provides a form during construction and a positive reinforcement of the concrete slab once cured. This provides both vertical load capacities and diaphragm shear capacities.

Composite B Deck features ASC Steel Deck’s Hi Form® embossment pattern that optimizes the mechanical bond between decking and the concrete (composite action). B Deck offers the lowest composite deck-slab weight per square foot for the specified concrete thickness above the deck. It is commonly used in office, educational, and retail applications.
