Cellular Acustadek® (Acoustical Cellular Deck)

Cellular Acustadek® combines the strength and acoustic performance of traditional Acustadek with a smooth underside for a clean, exposed ceiling look. It delivers effective noise reduction and structural support while eliminating the added complexity of separate ceiling systems. This dual-purpose panel features 0.157″ perforations spaced 0.433″ apart, with fiberglass batts pre-installed in the cells for sound absorption.

Cellular Acustadek is available across various ASC Steel Deck and is available in galvanized or factory-applied bottom-side primer finishes. Installed via welding or ASC Steel Deck’s Smooth Series™ method, which creates a sleek finish without burn marks.

DGBF-36 by ASC Steel Deck on Sketchfab

ASC Steel Deck's B Deck profile (36" coverage) with a pan attachment and factory-installed a cellular deck solution. For installation with ASC Steel Deck's Delta Grip DG4 system, standard button punch, or top seam welds. Available as a welded pan and beam attachment or an architecturally pleasing Smooth Series (riveted) attachment. Key configurations include:

  • GBF-36A – Delta Grip DG4 Attachment Cellular B Roof Deck (DGBFr-36A if riveted)

Cellular Acustadek batts are factory-installed. Each fiberglass batt is 1” x 3.5” x 48” (3lb density), requiring 38 batts per square.
