Cellular Deck

Cellular Deck provides an aesthetically pleasing smooth underside appearance for exposed deck installations. It is achieved by attaching a separate flat pan to the underside of the deck profile. This smooth underside may also be desirable for environments seeking an easier-to-clean flat surface. As this only features a flat pan without perforation and insulation, Cellular Deck does not offer any acoustical properties – please see Cellular Acustadek® for cellular decking with sound absorption properties.

Cellular Deck features ASC Steel Deck’s innovative Smooth Series™ pan attachment. Smooth Series is an architecturally exposed cellular deck that attaches the pan with rivets, creating a clean deck to pan connection. The riveted attachment replaces the traditional welded attachment process with aesthetically pleasing riveted attachments. This eliminates the need for field labor to touch-up burn marks associated with welded attachments.

Cellular Deck is available across various ASC Steel Deck profiles including B Deck, N Deck, 2W and 3W Deck and available in galvanized finish, gray and white factory applied bottom side primer (Prime Shield) finishes.

DGBHF-36A by ASC Steel Deck on Sketchfab

ASC Steel Deck's B Deck profile (36" coverage) with a separate, flat pan underside. For installation with ASC Steel Deck's Delta Grip DG4 system, standard button punch, or top seam welds. Available as a welded pan and beam attachment or an architecturally pleasing attachment. Key configurations include:

  • DGBF-36 – Delta Grip DG4 Attachment Cellular B Roof Deck (DGBFr-36 if riveted)
  • BF-36 - Standard Attachment Cellular B Roof Deck (BFr-36 if riveted)
  • DGBHF-36 – Delta Grip DG4 Attachment Cellular Composite B Deck (Floor Deck)(DGBFr-36 if riveted)
